Coming live from Olympia, WA: My life on a virtual silver platter. I'm going to school at Evergreen, for those that have not heard the wonderful news! I'm in a program called Illuminations, it's a class revolving around studying Renaissance France Religion, Society, and History. It's very interesting. Most of my classmates are actually traveling to France to do a pilgrimage in the spring, but I have opted not to go. It costs about $8000 for 10 weeks, and since I am planning to spend at least one quarter, possibly two studying in Scotland, I figured it'd be better if I focused all of my study abroad funds on it.
The class is still great fun! During the Spring, for those that aren't going to France like myself, we can stay here and have our own pilgrimage. I'm not quite sure what mine will be, but you'll find out when I do. It might be something to do with my research project this quarter (suggested by professors), which is on the topic of the Problem/Origin of Evil as the Church sees it, demonic possession/exorcism, duality w/ good, etc.
I've been ultra busy reading/writing homework assignments. One in particular I'm quite proud of was writing on the works of Michel Euguen de Montaigne, a French philosopher during the mid-late 1500s. He was one of the first humanists of his time, and so much of what he wrote about I agree with. I'll post the exegesis on DeviantArt once it's revised and finalized, so you can read it and see what I'm talking about.
I've been looking (when not busy with school) for online D&D programs compatible with Linux (particular Feisty Fawn), so if you find anything like this, I'm greatly open to suggestions and will try virtually anything *free* you send me.
Furthermore, I've broken my gaming morals by wanting to play World of Warcraft, but am greatly concerned with compatibility and cost, so any advice to a troubled man trying to get along in the world?

Live well, Carpe DM

Yo, call me when you get a chance. I've wanted to call but I didn't want to disrupt any time with Amanda. So, CALL ME! I've been watching soccer all weekend and I've been in this "sporty" mood. Anywho, hope things are good. I'd like to see you two. =D
